Step-by-step workflow
Upload the video
Start in the face-blur video tool with your MP4 or MOV file.
Choose faces individually
After the automatic preview, open More options → Advanced editing (or Open studio). In Choose faces individually, set the range you need and choose Analyze selected clip.
Choose the tracks to keep
In Tracks, use Keep All on each verified presenter track, or Keep Trim to keep just the overlapping part of the selected track. Leave bystander tracks set to blur.
Apply and verify
Choose Apply privacy edits. Check the rendered clip around scene cuts, crossings and the first and last appearances of each person. Review the downloaded file before sharing.
- Review the detected tracks before rendering. Keep only the tracks you have verified.
- Check separate appearances of the presenter. A cut or a change in angle can split one person across groups.
- Review voices, names and other identifying details as well as faces. Turn off original audio if it reveals information you need to hide.

Yes. Keep each verified track for the people who should remain visible, then review the applied result.
Does this work on only part of a video?
Yes. Set the trim range in Studio before analysis to process just that portion. If you change the range after analysis, reanalyze it before applying edits.
When should I use full-body mode instead?
Use full-body mode for wide scenes, CCTV, or clips where identity can still be inferred from clothing or posture.
